Employers may use the Site to post employment opportunities through the Site. Employers may also search candidate profiles and resumes posted on the Site if a candidate agrees to release their resume through the act of applying to jobs or participating in placement agencies or other employment activities. Employers posting jobs through the Site are required to comply with all applicable laws, including without limitation equal employment opportunity and anti-discrimination laws. Agencies or other employment services may use the Site to coordinate the interactions of employers with candidates for the purpose of connecting employers with their candidates for hiring purposes. Candidates may use the Site to perform various activities related to agencies or employment services that use the Site, such as to create profiles, post resumes and review job opportunities. Candidates, agencies and/or other employment services must also at all times comply with applicable laws that relate to the Site, their use of the Site or the information posted therein.


If you are a user who was given access to the Site by an agency or other employment services you are affiliated with, this Privacy Policy does not govern that organization’s collection, use, or disclosure of personal information through the Site.  We are not responsible for your agency or other employment service’s collection, use, or disclosure of your personal information. VIPLG will retain personal information we process on behalf of these institutions for as long as needed to provide services and as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.


Most account and data requests by candidates can be completed by logging into the Site or by contacting the office that is responsible for the VIPLG system in use at your agency or other employment services.  Please contact these institutions to better understand their privacy practices.


Candidates share information with us when they complete the registration form that is required when registering with the Site and when they take any action on the Site or choose to upload or add documents, personal information, or other content to the Site, including without limitation resumes, cover letters, profile information, etc. By sharing data on the Site, such candidate data may be included in aggregate reports to state agencies, in reports developed for institutional studies, or in similar circumstances.

Students and alumni should contact any agency or other employment services they utilize (a) if they have any concerns regarding the use of their data or (b) if they wish to view, correct or change their data.


Agencies or other employment services may use candidate data they obtain from the Site only for the purpose of conducting business related to the office that uses a VIPLG product or otherwise in compliance with their own privacy policies. Employers using the Site have access to and must use candidate data only for recruiting, interviewing, and hiring purposes. Employers have access to limited information (electively supplied by the candidate) from candidate profiles—the candidate name, skills, education, employment history, contact information, etc. Employers also have access to resumes from candidates who have opted to be included in placement agencies or other employment services.  Employers have access to profiles and resumes of candidates who have opted to be promoted in VIPLG’s Featured Candidate communications and marketing efforts, independent of an agency or other employment service’s use of VIPLG software. VIPLG cannot control the use of resumes by third parties who access the Site. Once your resume has been disclosed, VIPLG is not able to retrieve it or ensure the destruction of it by the third parties who accessed it. You should not put sensitive information, personality profiles, or other information you would not want made public, in your profile or resume. Profiles you create and resumes you give to us must not contain sensitive data relating to your (i) racial or ethnic origin, (ii) political beliefs (iii) philosophical or religious beliefs (iv) membership of a trade union or political party (v) physical or mental health or biometric details or genetic makeup (vi) addictions, sexual life (vii) the commission of criminal offences or proceedings and associated penalties or fines, (viii) the commission of any unlawful or objectionable conduct and associated penalties, or (ix) any Social Security Number or national identification number. If your resume does contain this information, then you agree that it is at your own risk. We cannot control third parties’ access to such information from our searchable database. Employers to whom candidate data is released must use such data in accordance with this Privacy Policy, the Terms of Use and their own internal privacy policies. Candidates that have questions regarding the privacy practices and policies of employers with respect to personal information should contact the employer directly.


We collect personally identifiable information through the Site in connection with the purpose of connecting employers with candidates to enable candidates to conduct business processes related to agencies or other employment services that utilize a VIPLG product. We use such information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

VIPLG uses PayPal or Stripe to verify your credit card information. PayPal or Stripe may use your credit card information only for those purposes. PayPal or Stripe will have access to your credit card number as necessary to perform the verification function, but it is required to maintain the confidentiality of your information and is prohibited from using your credit card information except to provide services to VIPLG.

VIPLG encrypts all credit card information, deletes your credit card information after the relevant transaction is completed and does not intentionally store such information on our servers.

VIPLG may use personally identifiable information to communicate regarding use of the Site and its services or to advise of the system or Site changes or other events or occurrences that may affect access to or use of the Site. We also use such information to provide customer and technical services upon request by the user.

Employers may access and use various tools, features, and functionality of the Site, such as posting jobs and reviewing candidate profiles, resumes and other job application materials. In order to enhance the quality and availability of products and services we offer, VIPLG may use data that has been de-identified or aggregated so that individuals or other entities cannot reasonably be identified by it.

VIPLG may use contact information of employers, agencies or other employment services for limited purposes, including recordkeeping, editorial and feedback purposes, content improvement, or to customize the content and layout of our Services. Such identifiable information, such as names, postal and email addresses, phone numbers, and other personally identifiable information voluntarily provided to VIPLG may be used for future contact regarding updates to our Services or new services provided by VIPLG. You agree that VIPLG may use this information for such communication with you. VIPLG may also desire to contact you for market research purposes or to provide you with marketing information that VIPLG believes would be of particular interest. You will have the option of not being contacted by VIPLG and opting-out of such communications by selecting the opt-out option in your account.

VIPLG utilizes other companies to provide limited services on its behalf, including but not limited to customer support, web analytics, coordination of mailings and event management. These companies are permitted to access only the information they require to perform those services. VIPLG requires these companies to maintain the confidentiality of any personal information and prohibits them from using the information for any other purpose than the purpose for which it was collected.

From time to time, VIPLG may also disclose personally identifiable information to fulfill certain legal and regulatory requirements or if we believe, in good faith, that such disclosure is legally required or necessary to protect our own or others’ rights or to prevent or mitigate harm.


You may change or correct the personal information that you have provided to us at any time. To do so, simply log in to your account, go to your profile, and you will find options for editing the information you have submitted.


When you enter the Site, our servers log your IP address. This is done to monitor our users on the Site collectively. We only use such data anonymously and in the aggregate. We do not use IP addresses to identify information of individual users.

All personally identifiable information that the Site collects about you is stored in limited-access servers. VIPLG has technical, administrative, and physical security measures and safeguards in place to protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control. The Site uses secure servers to protect from loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control. VIPLG does not review job postings or other information posted by users of the Site. Site users are urged to validate information such as job postings and use caution and common sense when applying and relying on such data. For example, do not disclose Social Security numbers, credit card information, or bank account numbers with unknown employers.

Although VIPLG strives to provide a high standard of security and privacy, no data transmission over the Internet or any wireless network can be guaranteed to be absolutely secure or effective, and VIPLG does not guarantee or warrant to the security and privacy of any data, information or content. You should be mindful to share only the information that they feel comfortable under these circumstances.


VIPLG may deem it necessary or appropriate from time to time to modify this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the way VIPLG collects or uses information or changes in privacy-related laws, regulations, or industry standards.
